Late 1930’s Thompson 20 Round Magazine which has the Patent Information Stamped on the front of the magazine, this one is what is called the “Maguire ERA” Patent Magazine because shortly after Russel Maguire took controlling interest of the Auto-Ordnance Corporation in 1939 he saw they were very short of 20 Round Magazines. He contracted to have some made an by accident the Patent Information to be stamped on the front was incorrect – called an Error Patent Magazine. The information stamped is – PATENTED – AUG. 20, 1920 AUG. 24, 1920 – JAN. 11, 1921
This magazine is in NOS un-issued condition with perhaps a few minor scratches from handling all these years but never in a gun or loaded, considered excellent condition.
