WW2 Weapons Manual Grouping (2) from the Cavalry School at Fort Riley, KS. opening just after WW1 (1919) and continuing till 1946 the School focused on Mounted Cavalry but as the US got closer to WW2 the Cavalry relied less on horses and became a Mechanized Cavalry, the horses were phased out completely in 1946 and the school continued on as the General Ground Training School (Tactical Horses were Officially Discontinued in 1947).
These grouping consists of 1 manual titled – Weapons Outlines and covers a number of weapons including the Thompson, it is in good condition but shows considerable spoiling from use and wear but is complete. The second is a General Manual titled – Tables of Organization Reference Data 1937 which has allot of great information including charts with Thompson information ( for example – weapon dispersal charts – how many of each weapon in a specific group). This manual is complete in excellent condition.
