Lot 007 – WW2 Thompson Cleaning Brushes (2) with Original Boxes

First 2 variations of the Thompson Submachine Gun Chamber Brush – M5 and their original WW2 carboard boxes they were packed in from the factory (in multiple numbers per box). The original boxes are in good condition and have been stuffed and the brushes (from the original boxes) are included (1 of each brush), they will make a wonderful display beside other issued cleaning items for the Thompson. There is only the late / post war cleaning brush not in the collection otherwise every WW2 version represented. The early was style has the short brass twisted wire handle then they went for a very short time to a similar brush style with a longer steel twisted wire handle. they were both superseded by another (final) brush which had the similar long steel twisted handle as the second variation but with a “Christmas tree” style shaped bristle brush. The brushes are available to be found but the boxes are almost impossible to find.
