WW2 M1 Thompson Submachine Gun Buttstock in un-issued condition. Same dimensions as the M1A1 Thompson Submachine Gun Buttstock but without the Cross bolt at the front (reinforcement to eliminate breakages). These non cross bolt were very short lived and are much less common than the M1A1 style. Manufacturer stamped with a (J) inside the sling swivel cavity on the bottom.
