Lot 012 – 1920’s Peters 45 Shot Cartridges (6)

(6) Original 1920’s Peters Cartridge Company 45 Shot Cartridges, these are the early version with the Domed Brass colored Primers (all from the same box). They are found in 3 variations (besides the really early prototype versions): 1st – Domed Brass Primers, 2nd – Domed Nickeled Primers and  3rd – Flat Nickeled Primers. Depending on which variation of box you have will dictate the variation of cartridge you have inside. These are from the very earliest boxes. All are in excellent condition, if moisture gets to these cartridges the red paper tip will expand and disintegrate over time, as well when exposed to light the red tips will brown over time, to be keep dry and out of direct light when stored.  They have a uniform consistent coloring of the brass and red paper tip in excellent.
