WW2 British Home Guard Paper Grouping with a copy of the privately printed Thompson 1928 Manual titled – THE THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN MECHANISM MADE EASY , printed by Gale And Polden Limited in Aldershot, London. Written by hand on the cover indicates it was owned by a Home Guard member from No. B33 plus his name which is a bit more difficult to read. The manual is in good well used condition showing wear and soiling but complete and tight. The second item is a pulled out page from a period weekly magazine with the description of the 1928 Thompson plus a line drawing of the gun and its parts plus a 50 round drum magazine, obviously an attempt to inform readers of the characteristics of the weapon. It is in good condition and shows age and has been folded in the middle horizontally. Nice pair of items from a Home Guard individual.
