It is a NOS “live” Tear Gas Cartridge for the 1.5 Inch Gas Gun labelled – 1.5 Cal. Short Range Shell C.N. and dated. *** NOT RECOMENDED TO BE FIRED ONLY FOR COLLECTION ***
Dated (stamped): Use Before Oct 1 – 1943 making it Late 1920’s or most likely 1930’s production. Well marked and still capped on the exit end with a small pull tab to be removed before firing.
