WW2 well used British Thompson 1928 Buttstock complete and shows allot of character, early version without crossbolt. It has a numbers of number stamped into it on both sides from previous units as well as Ordnance Depot stampings with well used all correct period metal. The British made the typical changes to it – moving the sling swivel to the top and filling in the original swivel slot on the bottom. They also modified it according to regulations, they added the 2 wood screws at the front side of the buttstock to reinforce the stock to keep from splitting.
Overall in good well used condition, correct metal and would look great on a well used British Thompson.
