Category:

Interesting paper grouping of Savage Arms Corporation items (4), first is a Savage Corporation Letterhead from their Utica Head Office and manufacturing plant dated in 1939 just before they were to sign the contract with Auto-Ordnance Corporation for the production of Thompson Submachine Guns after Colts original run of 15 000 guns. The letterhead is in excellent condition and is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. Then there are (2) WW2 period magazine advertisements which are from Savage Corporation showing the war time weapons they are manufacturing for the US war effort, included in the pictures are the 1928 Thompson Submachine Gun. The 2 ads have been removed from magazines and are 8.5 inches by 10 inches and 6.5 inches by 9.5 inches approximately and are both in excellent condition. The final item is unique, it is a blueprint from the Savage Arms Factory in Utica, NY. from very early 1900’s and was used when the factory was built. It is 25.5 inches by 36 inches and is folded and in excellent condition, it is the floor plan from a 3rd floor of a building (not an exciting blueprint but still original and would display very well in a Savage Arms Display).
