Complete 1930’s box of Peters Ammunition designed for Law Enforcement use only. The ammunition was developed due to the thickness of the metal used on the bodies of cars and the inability of standard ammunition to pierce them during police chases which was happening more frequently in the early 1930’s and on all over the US. Same dimensions of the standard 45 Automatic Colt Pistol Cartridge but with a heavier pointed bullet with a weight of 173 grains. 1 piece box in good condition showing wear and soiling from use, complete with original ammunition and double shrink wrapped.
