Lot 028 – WW2 M1 Thompson Submachine Gun Cleaning Rod – Un-Issued

Original mid war production 2nd version Thompson Submachine Gun cleaning rod as used with all Thompson’s but issued around the time of the M1. The first version cleaning rod is of all brass construction, as wartime limits on the use of brass went into effect it was decided to make the cleaning rods of steel body with only the tip in brass. In perfect un-issued condition.
