Full set of WW2 and 1 Post War (1955) British Thompson Manuals – Small Arms Training Volume 1 Pamphlet 21, which first started in 1940 then 1942, 1944 and finally the last one cover dated 1944 but printed in 1955. The first manual in 1940 was only 8 pages including covers and covered the 1928 Thompson, it is titled – Thompson Sub-Machine-Gun 1940. The second version included more information and was still for the 1928 Thompson with 12 pages plus covers and titled – The Thompson Machine Carbine 1942 (This pamphlet supersedes the 1940 edition). Then they reprinted in 1944 with more information and included the Sten Submachine Gun which was in full production and use, titiled – The Machine Carbine 1944 (this was the second version for the Sten Submachine Gun which is Vol 1 Pam 22) – This pamphlet supersedes S.A>T. Vol. 1 Pamphlets Nos. 21 and 22, 1942. The final one is a very similar version to the 1944 manual with a few amendments only added in, it is 30 pages plus covers which changed in the 1950’s to blue color covers.
All are in very good used condition complete and tight (no loose pages), the last version has some former unit ink stamps on the front and back covers.
