Original WW2 dated French Manual for the Thompson Submachine Gun but the Model 1921, they received a number of 1921 Thompson’s early in the war then France surrendered to the Germans and they kept using Thompson’s but 1928, M1 and M1A1 versions so they had the US Government print their manuals for them in Washington, DC. and they were exact copies of the English versions of the US Manuals.
This is the second version of this manual the first being dated 1941 and this one is dated 1944, titled – SECRETARIAT D’ETAT A LA GUERRE ETAT-MAJOR DE L’ARMEE DIRECTION DE L’INFANTERIE NOTICE SURE LE PISTOLET-MITRAILLEUR THOMPSON DE 11,25 MM MODELE 1921 printed in Paris. It has 88 pages plus cardstock blue color covers and printed by Charles-Lauauzelle & Co. It has a few color plates for parts identification plus some pull outs in the rear, in excellent used condition.
