WW2 20 round magazine as used by the British in North Africa showing the modification done (soldering the side holes shut) to help prevent the sand from getting into the magazine. The British Purchasing Commission purchased a large number of 20 round magazines and 50 round drum magazines from The Crosby Company with an order contract in June 1940 (the order was for 560 000 – 20 round magazines.
This magazine is manufactured by The Crosby Company of Buffalo, NY, the 20 shows signs of wear and some spots of mild surface rust but no dents or major damage, in good used condition.
