WW2 Canadian Army Armourer’s Modification Instruction Sheet No. 3 as issued for a field modification of the Thompson Submachine Gun (All Models’) dated 30 November 1944. The modification was the installation of a front horizontal grip band to assist in the re-enforcement of the front wood grip (to keep it from puling away from the barrel and breaking).
The sheet is in very good condition and complete and along with it is a NOS un-issued perfect condition barrel band. The modification sheets are almost impossible to find since not very many were printed and distributed.
