Lot 079 – 1923 Army Ordnance Magazine

Original Army Ordnance Magazine from 1923, complete in good condition except the cover shows wear and has some tears, it is coming loose from the spine. Inside is an excellent article on the “New” 1923 Model Thompson Submachine Gun with a very good photo of the gun (page 359 – 1 page article). 68 pages plus covers measuring  9 x 12 approximately, the back of the rear cover is also a full page Auto-Ordnance Corporation Advertisement for their Thompson Auto-Rifle, both weapons never passed their testing stage, they did not go into production and only a few examples of each were made and exist today.
