Original 1921(8) Navy Thompson Submachine Gun buffer pilot as used with the 2 piece actuator, in very good used condition with no markings and made with a nickeled looking steel (silver / grey colored) not blued. Has no hole near the end for a spring tool as found on the later WW2 Buffer Pilots.
