Lot 094 – WW2 British 1928 Thompson Submachine Gun Buttstock – Army Training (Stamped)

Original WW2 British 1928 Thompson Submachine Gun Buttstock with many repairs and unit numbers tamped into it, look well used. Most likely a training gun due to the number stamped into the side of it – PL 89 DC5 and many many repairs. All correct metal and the traditional British Army Modifications: 1) Adding 2 screws near the front to help keep it from splitting 2) moving the sling swivel to the top and filling in the original bottom location hole. Well used – if it could only talk and tell us it’s history!!!
