Original 1921 advertisement from Auto-Ordnance removed from a Sporting Magazine, very early on the marketing of the Thompson Submachine Gun showing Auto-Ordnance not only thought of the Law Enforcement and Military use of the gun but also in the field of “Sporting” use of the gun. The advertisement is titled: Sportsmen Attention The Thompson Submachine Gun. Very few advertisements are found outside of the Law Enforcement and Military publications. Full page (trimmed now at 7.5 x 10.5 approximately) removed from the magazine with the advertisement being slightly larger than a quarter page (3.5 x 5 approximately), in good condition showing some minor soiling but the advertisement is very good.
