Early Thompson 1928 Fire and Safety Lever set (Savage) with knurling on the edges and the hole in the side of the safety, both used in good condition. These were used in the very early production Savage 1928 Thompson’s and the knurling and hole were eliminated by mid war as too time consuming and not needed, saving manufacturing time and money for the US Government.
