Category:

WW2 45 Ammunition Cartridge Steel Tin (empty) which originally held 600 rounds in 50 round cardboard boxes with 2 tins in a wooden crate. The original cartridges where the M1921 Dummy Cartridges used for Training, not very common cartridges and even less common to find a tin, this tin is in ok condition with the back being cut open and tacked welded shut again, then sadly the tin was painted but the lettering was not covered with the paint so it is known what was in it. The cartridge’s were manufactured with steel cases by Evansville Chrysler Ordnance in Northern Vanderburgh County, IL. they produced 96% of the 45 ACP Cartridges in the US during WW2.
