WW2 Remington Arms Company of Ilion, NY cartridge box (empty), with 6 original cartridges from the box deactivated and ready for display. These are the in “white” boxes produced for England very early in the war (Pre-Lend Lease) and purchased directly from Remington (Winchester was the other Ammunition supplier producing “white” box cartridge’s for them), purchased by the British Purchasing Commission and paid for in cash.
This box is in good condition but has tape on it and some hand writing on the front panel other wise good and complete, stuffed with cardboard and shrink wrapped to preserve it. The 6 cartridges are head stamped REM-UMC 45 ACP and have a red paint stripe I placed to indicate it is deactivated.
