Lot 113 – WW2 Thompson 1928 Gun Case with Strap

WW2 Thompson 1928 Canvas Case with Shoulder Strap, pocket for buttstock on the side pouch with a single flap to hold (4) 20 round magazines. The only documented WW2 Military purchase is very early in the war when the USMC  purchased a number of them but it was not used by any other Military Branch that we know of. A much older design going back to the original Colt 1921 Thompson’s in the 1920’s, manufactured by Mills and Rusco in the 1920’s and 1930’s, this case is un-marked but thought to be manufactured by Rusco. It is in NOS un-issued condition and becoming a very hard item to find in any condition.
