WW2 Evansville Chrysler 45 Caliber Cartridge Box and 6 deactivated Cartridges (from the box) for display. The Evansville Chrysler plant who manufactured Plymouth Cars pre-war in IL. was turned into the Evansville Chrysler Ordnance Plant in WW2 to produce ammunition for the US government and produced 96% of the 45 acp ammunition in the US during the war.
This box is empty and stuffed with cardboard then shrink wrapped to preserve it in excellent NOS un-issued condition and comes with 6 deactivated cartridges from the box which have a head stamp EC – 43 with a red paint stripe to indicate I deactivated them, all in perfect NOS un-issued condition, will make a great display item.
