Lot 127 – WW2 Thompson Canvas Vehicle Gun Case – 1950’s Packaging

1950’s packaged WW2 Thompson Vehicle Canvas Gun Case (2nd Pattern) in NOS un-issued condition still sealed. This case was sitting at Rock Island Arsenal in WW2 then post war packaged for long term storage, well marked on the packaging and dated 9 / 54. On the front of the package it reads – 1 – COVER, SUB, M.G.   D50268    METHOD 11  RIA 9 / 54

This is the version which holds the gun with a magazine installed not the earlier style.
