1950’s French Paper Grouping (2), In the 1940’s – 1950’s the French were in the French – Indo China Conflict and always looking for former WW2 soldiers to join back up to fight. The Thompson Submachine Gun was still in use in France and there were a number of Manuals printed from WW2 on on the Thompson’s.
in this Paper Grouping the first item is a Training School Set of Manuals titled – COMMANDENENT SUPERIEUR DES TROUPES D’OCUPATION ECOLE DE SOUS-OFFICIERS DE LAGENARGEN LES DIX ARMES DU COMBATTANT , the manual is a folder with 10 different weapon booklets inside, one of them being the Thompson. Completely written in the French Language and each measuring 6 inches by 8.5 inches approximately and is in un-issued perfect condition.
The second item is a French Booklet is titled – SOUS-OFFICERS DE RESERVE REJOINEZ! L’ARMEE A BESOIN DE VOUS, the manual is information about the conflict and an attempt to lure French Officers to join up. It is written in the French Language and is 16 pages including paper covers and measures 5 inches by 8 inches approximately and is in excellent condition.
