Lot 204 – WW2 USMC Paper Lot (2) Manual and Advertisement

WW2 USMC Paper Grouping (2) – 1940 USMC Manual (7th Ed) with a weapons section including the Thompson, tilted – THE MARINES HANDBOOK  7TH EDITION from the United States Naval Institute, Annapolis Maryland. With 242 pages plus cardstock covers measuring 9 inches by 7 inches approximately in well used condition with soiling and wear both on the cover and inside, an ink stamp of a previous owner is on the first inside page. the printing on the cover is very faded which is common on these manuals, I have had many the same way over the years. The second item is an Advertisement pulled from a magazine for the Chesterfield Cigarette Company with a great illustration of a couple of Marines in the Jungle with each holding a 1928 Thompson loaded with 50 Round Drums. It was the back cover so has some soiling from wear but is still very nice and would display very well, good image with vivid colors, measures 10.5 inches by 14 inches approximately.
