WW2 British Home Guard Paper and Photo Grouping (3), LOT consists of LDV / HG Manual titled – NATIONAL DEFENCE NOTEBOOK which covers many weapons plus other wartime information including the Thompson, with 54 pages (including blank pages in the back – for notes) plus hard covers and original pencil held in the spine. The second item is the Home Guard Manual titled – Small Arms Manual By J.A. Barlow dated 1940 – the first printing of this manual with the red ink cover all others (many re-prints up to 1965) had black ink covers, it is a private printing in very good used condition. The last item is a very nice photo of a Home Guard Unit being inspected by an Officer, measures 6.5 inches by 8 inches approximately, dated 1940 in excellent condition. Very nice early HG Grouping.
