Original US General Magazine Pouch with Shoulder strap and made popular by the Movie “Saving Private Ryan” when Tom Hanks used one to carry his Thompson Magazines. This pouch was issued for Thompson’s but could be used for a variety of items. These were manufactured by a number of different contractors and all have the manufacturers stamping on the rear and U.S on the front bellow the flap.
Made of khaki canvas and ink stamped U.S on the front bellow flap and manufacturer stamped W. L. Dumas MFG. Co. and dated 1943 on the rear of the pouch, in perfect NOS un-issued condition and one of the less common marked pouches to find.
