1960’s Western Cartridge Company 45 ACP Ammunition Steel Tin the same style as the 50 Caliber Tins, used to protect the 50 Cartridge Cardboard Boxes instead of using a heavy Wooden Crate to protect them. This allowed for a thin much cheaper Wooden Crate with a simple steel wire closure. This also allowed for the tin to be able to be opened and reclosed as wanted and keeping the Cartridges clean and dry. Packed 2 tins per wooden Crate (1000 Cartridges per Tin- 2000 per Wooden Crate.
This tin is empty, well marked and in excellent NOS un-issued condition.
